This has the ability to fold over like a sandwich bag...but has a ribbon
tie cuz sometimes you just want security for your treasures. Another
Lakaya original design. I made this one for Mary.

How did you do the fold over flap? I knitted one on a "free-style" project I did last year and now I cannot remember how I did it. I'd appreciate your help!
Believe it or not...I simply looked at a sandwich bag and when from there. When you fold the rectangle to sew into a bag...leave part of it over to be the flap...when it's level with the bag...sew it down ...backwards. So when you flip it...the stitching is on the inside. That's all I did.
If you look closely...I put something in the bag while it was pinned so I can test it...only had to readjust once.
