Ear Warmers: 1 ball of bulky yarn such as Jiffy, size 9 needles, cast 81

Ear warmers: finished product is 4 inches wide and 18~22 inch in diameter...when stretched. Will fit the average adult head. Start border: K 1 row, P 1 row (purl ridge), pattern row: (RS) k2, p1,
across. (WS) k1, p2, across. Maintain this 2x1 rib for 4 inches, (18
rows) on right side...purl across (purl ridge) knit back and cast off.
Sew side seam. Done.
