A notation on emotions and knitting.

Ok so I'm angry...for the first time in years...and I'm gonna knit to calm down. However, that being said, I'm gonna work on something generic before returning to my main project.

Did you know....that as much "therapy" as knitting (and crochet and crafting) provides....and is much cheaper than a psychologist...that therapy can have it's drawbacks. Ever look at your work and noticed how tight or loose your sts are? Tight sts come from an angry mind. Loose sts...relaxed person. Perfectly even sts come from a rhythmic motion....relaxed and happy did that.

So when you are ticked off...and you just know the only thing that will calm you down is a little yarn therapy...grab a new ball and make something small...like a coaster or dishtowel, dish cloth, potholder, etc. and then go back to you main project. You won't have to unravel a bunch of angry sts and you'll gain a new dish cloth.

Don't knit angry....at least not on the good stuff.
